Review :Yes – I know – I admitted often enough that I have a problem with short story’s but the plot of If You Believe in Me by Natalie J. Damschroder intrigued me sooo much I could not stop myself from reading it. And ? well… I was surprised – It was perfect … Well clearly I will find something to complain – but in this case my complain is only … WHY did the author not extend the story to a full length novel ? It has everything it needs for it. But looking as it is right now – it is a short sweet maybe a little “cliché” containing story, that is sweet and perfect for the upcoming Christmas holidays … it will leave the readers with a *sigh* on their lips I am sure. I think the magic explanation for WHY this short story works where so many others fail is, the author is not trying to hard. She just drops the readers right in the middle of Amber’s life and lets them figure out the rest. There is not too much background information just enough to keep the context running and it works perfectly in this setting. And this definitely convinced me to take a look in other novels of this author as I want to see how she will work with a full length novel

Review :
With “Before the Storm” by Leslie Tentler you get one of these stories which are not really surprising, but at the end you just need to read them! Mostly because the background story is so emotional that you just need to finish reading. This was also the case with this book! You have these two characters with a terrible past who meet each other and now have to sort out some “issues”. Both protagonist are very likely, but at the same time not boring. They both have these special characters traits that make them and at the end also the whole book interesting. A book which is not only filled with need, sex,…Not with all these things you find quite often these days.
A bit more tension would still be good. All in all a very nice story….

Review :

I can´t even remember how long this book has been on my to read-pile. It always crossed my way – now that we received the ARC of the third book of the series, Scales, I finally read this book. And it was the best decision ever! It´s almost impossibe to put into wards how much I love this book! I have read a lot books and when you read the blurb you maybe wouldn´t directly think of something that surprises you the way this book did in my case. The story starts in the therapy room where you get introduced to the two main characters, the hurt and frightened Tania(better known as Tinkerbell) and Kane who at first seems like the hell of a rock , but because he is part of this special therapy session, you know that there must be something… You get to know them step by step within the course of action which really concentrates on the most important actions- one of the reasons why I love this book so much! Of course there are minor characters, but you never get distractred by them as there is special magic about Kane and Tania and their very special relationship….. A relationship I´ve never seen before. The history of both protagonists is so raw and at the same time so ….different. One scene which I never experienced before in a book is the “touching hair-scene”. I really won´t tell you more about it, but this scene did something to me-WOW! One of the best scenes I ever read! Dale Mayer- you for sure got a new fan! Awesome author, awesome book!
Everyone who has read the book understands the final comment: “To be continued…”

Review I always have been a sucker for these stepbrother-novels. Sowehen I requested this one because of some lines which made me think” This sounds not bad!”, I was even more happy to find an ARC attached to the email.
“Stranded With My Stepbrother” is quite a short novel which is why you shoud not expect a long story including all the details about the protagonists´ past. But! it includes exactly what most readers want to read about in these kind of novels Two characters forced to spend time together while they start noticing this special chemistry. And in this case, there really is chemistry which makes the short read a lot of fun! Within these around 100 pages the author even was able to create “propper characters” even if I have to say that I prefered Bentley as it was easier to connect with him. Sierra´s character is in my opinion too flat at some pints of the charcters which is a pity as she is also an important part of the while story. All in all a good story that would be even better if the author would add some more pages to let the characters develope a bit more withing the cause of action.

Review :

What a nice story….. When you see the cover and read the blurb you have these pictures in your head-pictures that definetly got confirmed after finishing this well-written story. With Wes and Carlie, you have to interesting and well developed characters whose past goes deeper that they can deal with. Together they create a very good storyline that makes you want to read the story in one rush. I ove the way all the characters interact even if at some times, there are in my opinion too many characters which can be a bit confusing. While in some situations, the talented author concentrated on the most important aspects of the scene, the pace was too quick in others. But looking at the book as a whole, I really would recommend it to people who love the kind of story described in the blurb. Because this is what you get .

Review :Normally I don´t read Cowboy stories, but this one caught definetly my attention from the very first page.Book 2 of the Sawyer Brothers series is also a stand-alone but after reading the first book before the second book, I just can recommend to you to read the books in order to really get a perfect feeling for the series, but also the characters.It´s a story about moving on after such a tragic past-one of the things I love soooo much about this book! Especially when there are two interesting, but also unique characters that influence each other the way it´s the case with this book!In combination with a story-line that never got me bored and an almost flawless writing-style, we just need to recommend not only this book, but also the whole series to you!We can´t wait to read the third book of the series!

Review : With

Redemption River (Men of Mercy, #1) by Lindsay Cross you get the hell of a story which is definetly meant in a good way! Wooooow! From the beginning until the very end, I sat in front of the book, exited about what will happen next. Ths book gives you not a second of a break as you are surrounded by emotions(negative or positive ones), actions happening throughout the story or just emotional breakdowns which leave you breathless. A pure roller-coaster ride! It´s often difficult to find the right balance of content regarding to the main topic and the things surrounding it! Lindsay Cross did a very good job as everything felt raw, emotional and maybe because of this very real which made it easy to not only connect with the story, but also with the characters which are at least as special as the very good writing-style. All in all a very good story you really should take a look at! Action, deep conversations, emotions and a very good story – exactly what a very good book is made of!

Review :

“Faith” is the first book of the Hades Angels series. In this book you meet the 21-year old Faith who was diagnosed with cancer. Something which influences her whole life. For so long until she decided that she needs a change. Like right now. This is the moment she finds distraction in dancing in a men club. There she meets somebody….Somebody who is not the way Faith (or Laura) expects him to be. After reading the blurb I was exited to find out how the author wrapped this story into such a short book. I really enjoyed “Faith” . Laura is such a strong and special character, one you just need to love. In general the way the characters get introduced is very nice as in a book so short like this one, it´s difficult to built up a connection.
The short length of this book is a bigger problem regarding to the logical development of the story. If you thing objectively about the reason for her starting to dance at the club, her reasons seem to be logical. I just could´t feel them. It happenend in such a rush which made it difficult to actually believe in this very awesome story with a nice plot-line. But because of this and a very scenic writing-style(too much description of the daily routine), the pace of the story unneccesarily slowed down .
Laura and Bryan definetly deserve more pages to tell their story as at the end of book one , there are still too many loose ends. All in all a nice story.
