Review :

The short length of this book is a bigger problem regarding to the logical development of the story. If you thing objectively about the reason for her starting to dance at the club, her reasons seem to be logical. I just could´t feel them. It happenend in such a rush which made it difficult to actually believe in this very awesome story with a nice plot-line. But because of this and a very scenic writing-style(too much description of the daily routine), the pace of the story unneccesarily slowed down .

Laura and Bryan definetly deserve more pages to tell their story as at the end of book one , there are still too many loose ends. All in all a nice story.

“Everything I Left Unsaid” by Molly O’Keefe left me speechless.

I am always careful when reading the Blurb of a new novel, especially when the Blurb mentions something like “Fans of ‘(insert author name)’ will love this book”. I can only advise (in general) to never have to high expectations when this line mentions one or like in case of this book directly 2!!! of your favorite authors. I learned the hard way that you will probably be on your way to a huge disappointment when you choose a book just based on that line.

So I choose to read this book based on the storyline not the author recommendation. BUT now, that I finished this book I am so happy to be able to tell you THIS BOOK is I an exception to that rule. I am a huge Fan of K. Brombergs “driven” series and I just love Jodi Ellen Malpas books and I could find many of the elements that made those books special to me inside of “Everything I Left Unsaid”.

But still this is book is a totally unique story. Even if the storyline might suggest that you have read books like that before believe me when I say “YOU HAVE NOT” … Molly O’Keefe has a unique way of presenting this story to you. Her writing is compelling and beautiful. This is my first book from this author and I am hooked and I can absolutely not wait to get the second book of this series because I NEED to know how it continues.

I noticed 3 kinds of reactions from myself that are good indications to judge if I am “all in” when it comes to a book.

-I often laugh kind of loud and start commenting on lines (in public places not caring if somebody hears me). This one is quite common and I did it with this book several times

-My heart starts beating fast, no matter if the reason is fear or excitement … but this is a rare thing and a very good sign if it happens … and it happened twice in that book

-And third – I cry … well I did not yet .. but twice I was very close and I am absolutely sure by the way the first book ended that I will cry when I start the second one… OH wait … I did cry in the first one … out of frustration because I want the second one – like NOW (#laughing)

This book kept me up last night until I only had 3 hours to sleep before getting back to work. I could not stop.

I liked both characters, they were both equally weak and strong, funny and sad, mysterious and obvious and all of it at the same time. The way the author told the story from both sides was intriguing. Especially the way Dylan’s side was described stood in an interesting contrast to what happened at the same time with Annie. Their dialogues with each other were mind-blowing.

The setting was described perfectly so the reader could totally relate to the leading and secondary characters and their surroundings. I absolutely loved everything about this book (except the ending and the fact that I have to wait for the next one -#laughing)

Review : Falling For The Wrong Guy by Sara Hantz was a sweet short read that I devoured in on session . I really liked the authors writing style and the storyline was intriguing. Unfortunately, I was missing a little more depth to the characters and the story. I felt kind of sad that I could not really connect fully to the leading characters as they seemed very loveable and intense. And I truly believe that a few more pages – especially when the turn of events comes would help. It seemed kind of rushed near the end. In total I can recommend this story if you are looking for a short and sweet read. BUT If you are like me a sucker for deep characters than you might not be totally happy with this book

Review :

To be honest, after reading the blurb I expected one of these typical billionaire-falls-in-love-with-girl-from-next-door books. But surprisingly, that´s not what I got with this book! There is so much more about Branden and Cara. Branden who has a much more interesting personality than I expected him to have. It was good to see that a book like this still can suprise you, even after reading all these billionaire books. I loved the fact that you got to see the things Branden did in the past to be the man he is today-becuase normally you mostly just get to see the “product”. This story is refreshing, has a story-line you want to follow until the very end and characters that surprised me over and over again. It has twists that are not too predictable while also not mentioning too many aspects. All in all a fiery, but also emotional story that leaves you with hunger for more!

A story with so many different emotions wrapped in such a special writing -style. It´s impossible not to fall in love with this story- even if I can´t understand some decisions the characters make. But you don´t need to agree with all aspects of a book to fall in love with it. There is just one thing with which I have ” a problem” – from 75% the pace of the story suddenly changed. If the autho would have kept up with its previous pace, this would be without a doubt a 5-star review. But you know what – sometimes you need flaws to love a book even more…. Now that I finished the book I can´t wait to read the other books of this series. Alone reading the quotes make me have goosebumps.

When I read “Sweet the Sin” by Claire Kent, which was the first book in this series, the plot just did not work out for me somehow. The characters were good it was just having some issues with the basic storyline. But I anyway wanted to know what happened next and therefore I dived into “Darker the Release”. AND I have to admit this book is better than the first one. The story flow is better and it seems that the author found her way. Concerning the contend – it will not be any spoiler to say that Kelly will not be able to hide her secret forever – that’s Murphy’s law of storytelling. The question is only what will happen ? and is Caleb guilty or not…Well I am not the one to tell – you will have to read to find out :- )

Which is an interesting aspect as the words “YA” and “suspense” do not seem to correspond in my world normally. Meet Deacon, bad boy in trouble and drop dead gorgeousEnter Emmie, good girl who does not loose herself even if she is into the bad boy way over her head. And you have the YA adult part perfectly wrapped Add a good mystery that keeps the reader guessing – (and if you think you know – think again) .. mix it with good writing and your result is a very good developed YA Novel that I would like to recommend to you warmly.

This one was a nice read! Nice i this case is the word of my choice to explain that this book wasn’t the best book I have ever read, but it also wasn’t that bad. In general I like the plot , especially Zac who shows an interesting king of Alpha behaviour I haven’t seen before in a book this way. In combination with Eva who has a past that haunts her, the interactions between them are fiery, emotional and did I mention fiery? It’s said that this book can be read as a stand-alone. After reading the third book of this series I have to disagree as in my opinion it would have been very helpful to read the other books as at some points it was difficult to just let go and connect with the story…. All in all a good book! I will for sure read the other books….

Review : “All I Need Is You” is the second book of the Loving You series by Wendy S. Marcus – yet it can be read as a standalone without any problems. The characters are interesting and well developed, the writing is fluent and the pace of the story is fitting the actions. I liked the dialogues and while the story itself is not really new, the way the author brings it to the readers is fresh and lets the reader dive into the book to really enjoy what he is reading. Still there were a few minor things that kind of disturbed my reading this is why it will not make a 5 star read. But in total I can fully recommend this book.

Review :

Of course I wanted to get to know more about Lou´s life, especially after what happened. But for me, this specific story-line was missing as there are too many strings which in my opinion aren´t really connected. What I love about the sequel is the fact that you still can connect to the main character which is the most important thing. Because she is the one through which eyes I will see the story…So yes, I am still a fan of Louisa! it´s good to see what happens with their lives. To make it complete it would have been good to include Will a bit more into the story-line. Because in my opinion it´s logical that he must have preapred something, at least some letters Lou gets from time to time…. All in all a solid sequel with a lack of story-line that gets outweight throughout the characters.
