Review :

“I know he was the love of your life. I get it, I really do. But what if I told you that you were mine?” Wow, just wow! The moment you turn the first page of the book you are part of an emotional rollercoaster-ride that leaves you breathless! I can´t remember a lot of books which left me with such emotions after finishing the book.
With Celia and Cain you meet two unique characters through which eyes you can see the story from a totally different point of view. I love the fact that you also get to know what Cain thinks, because mostly it´s the female protagonist who is the story-teller. And to see how different their thoughts are is just one additional aspect I adore about this book!
A story with so many different emotions wrapped in such a special writing -style. It´s impossible not to fall in love with this story- even if I can´t understand some decisions the characters make. But you don´t need to agree with all aspects of a book to fall in love with it. There is just one thing with which I have ” a problem” – from 75% the pace of the story suddenly changed. If the autho would have kept up with its previous pace, this would be without a doubt a 5-star review. But you know what – sometimes you need flaws to love a book even more…. Now that I finished the book I can´t wait to read the other books of this series. Alone reading the quotes make me have goosebumps.
