All For 1I don’t have a name, just a number. 1. A single slash across a keyboard. 1. That’s the number of people I know that are worth dying for. 1. The total number of women I’ve ever loved. 1. The number of weeks I have left to save her. ALL FOR 1 (aka ALL FOR ONE) is a romantic suspense story. This book includes cursing, graphic sex scenes, and tough subjects. |

I picked up this book in preparation for a book convention where this author is supposed to attend – And I felt the plot was something that I would really enjoy. And while the writing style of this book takes some getting used to after a few chapters I was OK with that. It was actually the unexpected END that left me unsatisfied. The cliffhanger that makes this book obviously part of a series left me wanting more – but not even Amazon seems to know about this being a series. So I am left with an incomplete experience and I am known for having issues with series like that. |

| Big-city sophistication meets carnal hunger in this devilish contemporary romance from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans.
Heir apparent to her father’s company, Lizzy Banks needs a man. The perfect man. But when the rich “fundbabies” she usually rubs shoulders with prove impossible to hire, she takes a chance on a raw beast of a man salvaged from the wreckage of a bar brawl. James Rowan earns a modest income as a YouTube daredevil, but he can’t refuse Lizzy’s million dollar deal. As she polishes his rough edges, creating a sophisticated gentleman fit for the highest circles of society, not only does she bring out the perfect man—it’s like she’s making the man of her dreams. How can she resist? Though Lizzy loves seeing James in his clothes—and out of them—he isn’t the kind of man you bring home to Daddy. Her father’s disapproval and the pressure of the campaign have her eyeing the straight and narrow, but Lizzy’s finding it awfully hard to resist the devil on her shoulder… |

I was so happy to be able to review “Million Dollar Devil” – as I loved previous books by Katy Evans. And I know you can feel the BUT come – so here it is … BUT I am not sure what happened to the feelings … this author was always about deep feelings for me – I can still remember crying over “REAL”. Sure an author is allowed to change his style but or genre. Just a little more than a week ago I was having a discussion with an author that felt her readers weren’t taking her change in style well and I told her – that she could not please everyone. Changing from a HEA Author to a NON-HEA one is one thing. It might be shocking but …yeah simply BUT … – the same goes for a change in the genre …. but the depth of a story. … the feelings within – they are essential – they are like the core of how a reader feels about an author – So I still hold on to that thought but I am not sure this type of change is a good one. I might be the odd one out there I don’t know but I really need to feel the story and connect to the characters and from the first page on I felt like I stepped into something cold. In the beginning, I thought it was just a way to build up the story but my waiting continued and at some point I realized that there would be no change and that this was the tone and setting of the story and I felt sad – so very sad because the plot had this potential as any other book from her. It made me wonder what happened to make her change style so much. At least that’s the way I felt about it when I finished. I will always check on her releases when they come up but I am pretty sure I will in some way be more reluctant to pick up the next book. ( I hope I am wrong when the time comes but these are my thoughts at this moment) I really loved REAL so much that I kind of want to pick up that book now again just to remind myself how much feeling there was and that what I felt while reading it wasn’t a kind of mirage. But as I said this might be totally on me and if you read the blurb and feel you might like it I would never stop you from reading it. It is a solid written plot that is just not for me ….unfortunately |

| If you knew love would hurt you, would you fall? If you knew love would leave you, would you let it go? If you knew love could never be, would you try? From bestselling author Randi Cooley Wilson comes a love story about heartbreak, second chances, and letting go. The ifs that linger between the pages of this novel will break your heart and stay with you long after the final chapter.
Emerson Shaw thought she’d left her old life behind her, but when she returns home for her best friend’s wedding, she has no idea her past is waiting to reclaim her. Lincoln Daniels never wanted to find love. But when he met straight-laced Emerson, he fell. Hard. The only thing they seemed to have in common was an undeniable mutual attraction, but from the moment he laid eyes on her, there was something about her that called to him. Until he lost her. Just when Emerson is finally ready to let go and stop existing in a past full of pain and regret, Lincoln returns, turning her life upside down. What begins as a tentative friendship quickly escalates, and the two soon realize that all the ifs lingering between them no longer matter. What happens when two broken people meet, fall in love, and realize they can never be? What happens when all the what ifs no longer make sense? If you knew your heart would break, would you still fall? This book is intended for mature audiences. |

| Before Well Fell is book four in the Love In the Heartland Series, but is a complete standalone with all new characters.
This is not just a romance. It’s not only a love story. Before We Fell For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The horror that rocked my small town last winter also brought Noah Wilkes into my life. The first almost broke all of us, but the second changed everything. He stomped into my classroom all angry scowls and rudeness, the big-shot lawyer who was always too good for this small town. But the moment his smile softened toward his niece, it was me that melted. The heartbreak that brought him back also brought me closer to him, to the man he hides from the world behind his swagger and aggression. The man I couldn’t help but fall for. But life has a way of throwing a curveball when you least expect it, and this one could cost me everything–even him. |

| I left home ten years ago, promising myself I’d never return to the place where I had never been accepted. I was despised and ridiculed for circumstances completely beyond my control.
But when my grandmother passes away, I’m forced to return to Kansas. I will have to face everyone who hated me. But they’re not who I’m most afraid of. My biggest fear? Facing him. When Jordan finds out the secret I have carried for so long, I’m in for the battle of my life. I might have wandered for years on a path riddled with thorns but with Jordan by my side, taking the long road home means more than reuniting with the only man I’ve ever loved. It might just mean finding myself, and the family I never thought I could ever have along the way. |
