| – A fake relationship? √ – Lovers to enemies to lovers? √ – A steamy one-night stand turned into a wild publicity stunt? √ A hot & cocky Hollywood actor meets his match when he falls for the sassy girl next door in AFTER ALL. Light, fun and sexy as sin, it’s the PERFECT SUMMER READ. From the NYT and USA Today bestselling author of The Pact and Before I Ever Met You. Emmett Hill is the perfect gentleman. At least that’s what his PR team wants the world to think. Tall, handsome, and wickedly charming, Emmett is in the midst of a career comeback, having landed the role of a villain in a popular TV show. The only problem is, Emmett has come a long way from the “nice guy” characters he used to play and his old squeaky clean image is quickly being tarnished by bar fights, womanizing and bad boy behaviour. Considering he’s two years shy of forty, it’s an act he needs to drop. And fast. Enter Alyssa Martin. At twenty-eight, Alyssa is tired and ready for a change. Her job as office manager has grown stagnant and unfulfilling, while she’s become continuously frustrated with Vancouver’s lackluster dating scene, always searching for Mr. Right in a city of Mr. Wrongs. When Emmett and Alyssa’s paths cross at a mutual friend’s wedding, their chemistry is off-the-charts hot, culminating in a steamy one-night stand. What neither expected was for the media catch wind of their coupling – and run with it. Now Emmett has to convince Alyssa to date him for the sake of his image. Her curvy, cute and “normal” persona is just the ticket to smoothing out his reputation, while Emmett provides Alyssa with the excitement and change her life has been lacking. The only problem is, the two fight like cats and dogs outside of the bedroom. And considering their arrangement is just for show, they shouldn’t be in the bedroom with each other anyway. Right? Try telling them that. |

“What a wonderful romance and a very welcome addition to this tempting series.” – Goodreads Review
“Breaking Her In is a romance full of hotness and characters that remain true to their beliefs. This book would appeal to those looking for some steamy stable action.” – Goodreads Review
“Oh, the sheer naughtiness! This is a treat to blush over. The rough stablemaster ravishes the sweet lady, oh my.” – Goodreads Review

There are two things I know for certain: horses are better than people, and women are more trouble than they’re worth.

| Quinn Taleisin hates secrets, and shadows, and subterfuge. Which is why she still can’t believe she agreed to become a member of the Guardians, an elite force of immortals tasked with keeping the balance between good and evil in the world.
Sounds great, except, to be a guardian you must agree to live in secrecy. Quinn is a wind elemental. Being caged in by secrecy is worse than death for someone like her. She can’t imagine a worse fate—until she’s asked to work with Lachon Findel, the man she holds responsible for her mother’s death and her father’s insanity. Lachon is the oldest living elemental in the world. Known as Lachon the Law, he’s an earth element; a man who sees the world in black and white, right and wrong. So maybe once, briefly, a hundred years ago she thought he was a good guy. She knew better now. No way would she fall for his savior of the world shtick. When the dangers of the past catch up with them, Quinn realizes the only way either of them will make it out alive is if she can put the ghosts of the past behind her and finally trust the flesh and blood man in front of her. |

| A marriage of convenience is their second chance at love.

Ceri Grenelle is an interesting new to me author. When I came across the plot of “Unconditional You” the 5th book in the Stupid Awesome series I applied for an ARC and while doing that I was asked if I wanted to read any of the previous books in that series so I checked the plots. And I learned that Ceri Grenelle is one of these authors where at least I have to really go with my feeling for the blurb – if I am not sure about that one – go with the Beatles and LET IT BE … BUT what does that say about the author? Well I guess I have to read the third book to confirm my thoughts but I really think that this author might have the crazy awesome ability to listen to the characters when writing their story. Which basically means that her writing style changes depending what the leads tell her while their story develops. I know how weird that sounds but believe me I have thought about it for several days and this is the only way to explain it … because at my hands I have two books that are that have connecting yet standalone stories with characters. They appear on and off in the books so their stories are close. And Still I had a (very sorry) 2 Star book and a (must read) 5 star book directly following each other here in my hands – that is what I call a reading experience … crazy right ? So I was looking forward at that point to read the book that I originally applied for because its blurb was not only talking to me … no it was almost shouting at me. And again I was right to trust my gut – this book was everything I hoped – expected and wished for. I was confirmed in my thoughts that the author really has a writing style that changes with the needs of the character …. From the first glimpse I got at Kai in the previous books I knew I had to read his story. The character never left me even weeks later I was constantly checking when the book might finally be available to read. If you asked me to make a reading suggestion to you? I would tell you to read Bursting Out first because it will make you want to read this book so much … When we get introduced the characters in “Bursting Out” I wasn’t sure what to think of Celeste but I was pretty sure I would love Kai’s character. So when we finally get to really meet them in “Unconditional You” there were revelations that explained a lot about how they came to be and I loved how their characters were growing in depth. I was surprised by some of the things that were revealed and I loved the plot from beginning to end especially because the plot was not a simple and easy one. The author really took time writing some twists and turns to make it memorable but again I think if you read book 4 before this it will leave an even deeper impression as the differences between the characters are more obvious. . And really anything more about the plot I could tell you here that is not already mentioned in the blurb would be a spoiler that I would like to avoid at all cost My recommendation? Even though you can read it as standalone – I suggest reading book 4 (also because it’s pretty awesome on its own) and then enjoy this one here – and I am pretty sure you will when you like the plot as mentioned in the blurb.

Servants of Fate Book 2
4 Stars
Galena Margolis, a brilliant scientist with a tragic past, is determined to fulfill her destiny and develop the vaccine that could save millions. Yet when Galenaâs test subjects meet with foul play, itâs clear that someone is still determined to stop her, and that Galena herself is a target. As the Ferry empire forges a plan to keep her safe, Declan Ferry, the politics-hating black sheep of the family, steps forward to protect herâbut the emotional cost may be more than either of them is willing to pay.As unknown enemies close in, it becomes terrifyingly clear that they threaten to destroy not only Galenaâs lifesaving work but also the very fabric of fate. As Galena and Declan race to uncover the traitor, they also forge a special bond that could save both Galena and those sheâs sworn to help. Torn apart by the past and hunted by those she trusted, can Galena find room amidst her fears for a passion that could make her stronger than ever? And even if she and Declan can find their way together, will it be enough to keep the future from coming apart at the seams?
It seems that the âdystopianâ view on the world really is one of the few book style (together with historic novels) that I have to be very careful in choosing. I just finished Sarah Fineâs âServants of Fateâ books â Marked, Claimed and Fated. Drawn in by the interesting plot I started reading but felt it hard to connect to the characters. While the writing is good and flawless, I somehow could not understand certain parts of this world that Ms. Fines drew for the readers. I am not sure what the reason is that it is easy for me to follow a book with a paranormal creature in a contemporary setting , yet so very hard to imagine anything in a dystopian setting.Still the plot kept me going and finishing and Fans of Dystopian worlds will surely truly love this book I believe. So please do not hesitate to read this book if youâre a Fan as the writing and storyline is very good.
