Review : Resolution by J.S. Cooper was a worthy final book to the Swept Away series. If you at any point thought you had it all figured out … try again. God I thought I had it figured out – oh Boy was I wrong …I keeping this review very short I try not to give away anything about the plot. This is for me to know and the other readers to find out :- ). Just be sure you will be surprised. The writing style of this author is intense and very well developed into the finest details. This story lives from twists, turns and some great leading characters. Great Story

Review : “A Seal Forever” by Anne Elizabeth is a deeply emotional book including a lot of different details which made it easy to actually imagine the scenery. It was obvious what the author had in mind while writing the book. The detailled writing style also has , in my opinion, a “bad” influence on the book . Because of all the details the focus on the main topic, the things that happened to Declan, is not as obvious as it should have been. While it was nice to know about all this background information, a little bit more focus on the war background would have been good. This impression is something which might depends on the individual preferences. In this case, I felt like I just missed something which was an important part of the blurb. All in all this is a book which is very nicely written whiletelling the story of two very interesting characters.

If you are looking for a book that feels real-this is the book for you! In “Without You”by Lindsay Detwiler, the talented author tells the story of two women who somehow have to deal with the same situation. Both have to deal with major issues in their relationship.

Something which was interesting to look at as they both don´t know each other, but as a reader it still feels like they are somehow connected . Both stories get more and more intertwined which makes the reader waiting for the moment both lives cross their paths

Something for which I was hoping so much as I desperately wanted to find out how this major twist would influence the story. I loved that this story could surprise me more than once which made it never boring .

Together with those really interesting characters, it was a joy to read this book.

It doesn´t need those overloaded stories for me….Seeing how an authour can have an even bigger impact on the reader while just being deep down autentic is something which is in my opinion even more special. So thanks for sharng this book with us!

Review :Again I came across a series book that can be perfectly read as a standalone. I’ll Be There by Samantha Chase is the book no 6 in the Montgomery series. I did not read any of the other books but I had totally no problem following the plot even if naturally you notice at some points that there have been other books.

I liked the slightly different approach on “things” in this book. The characters were quite different from others in similar situations in other books. But something in the total of the story was strange, I can not put my finger on it but at certain points I could have sworn that the writing felt strange. If this had been a debut novel it would have explained some of the weird vibes I got but as this is an established series I am totally not sure what it was. I would need to read a second book of this author to see if it might be a common style for her or if it is only within this book.

Anyway the story itself is quite tame even if there are explicit events which was almost refreshing (because the habit seems to be very explicit page long sex dialogues at the moment). Lovers of series I am pretty sure will like this book as the characters within the pages give the reader a feeling of familiarity without repeating any previous storys of other books – which I like very much.

I feel that the reader should be aware of previous books without being annoyed by repeating their story within the book that is just being read. There are no WOW moments within the plot so I am afraid it will not be a four star read but I believe that it is a solid read and deserves your attention if you read the plot and felt you might like it.

But the likelihood of their woven interests in each other becoming a real relationship is threatened by shallow judgment, the media and a trouble making former barn hand.

This is one of these books that really surprised and convinced me that sometimes it´s good to also read something you normally would not read. Usually I don´t read m/m/f stories – not because I don´t like them , but more because I don´t see myself in the position to judge these kind of relationships as it´s more difficult to connect with the characters. But with the third book of the Tapestry series by Natalie Alder, I just read a book from this genre and I can say: this was a good one! With James you definetlyget adifferent character that surprised me in more than one way. The way he is thinking, the way he is acting, the way he deals with his past- it´s different compared to the other characters from the previous books and at the same time more interesting…. I loved the way we get to know about his thoughts as it shows perfectly how he changes throughout the course of action. Wrapped in again a wonderful writing-style, I just can say that I really enjoyed reading and that I can´t wait for the next book!

Jazz lives her life according to colour.She vibes off people’s colour.Her world is happy, bright, fluro. Until her sister goes missing, followed closely by her mother.She moves across the country and starts a new life. Some of it good, some of it a little bad. All of it colourful. It is there she meets a man who makes her question herself, her previous life and where she is going in this one. Jazz wants to move forward but she also can’t forget the mystery surrounding her mother and sister.

So once again I will be one of the minority in regards to reviews for All the Colours. Now, this is just my personal opinion but my silly brain never seems to communicate that it is Young Adult and low and behold I’m not really a fan. But I still apply to receive books in exchange for a honest review.

This book takes place in Australia. The main heroine is Jazz. One day her twin sister drives off for a date with her boyfriend and after a car accident gone wrong, Stella just disappears. No one knows where she is or what happened. Jazz isn’t dealing with it well. Her mother also up and leaves without saying anything and Jazz is left alone until she phones Aunt Beck and she flies on the other side of Australia to start a new life. New school, new friends and Jazz loves it as much as she doesn’t know how to move on with her life.

I’m sorry but I didn’t like her cousin Olivia. A lot of incidents reminded me of my god awful time at school.

I liked the Hero more than I liked the heroine.

It is so well written with how we see the world through Jazz’s eyes with All the Colours. What colours stood for what emotion. Black for sadness I would have chosen blue if it had been me. Pink for happiness where I would have chosen yellow. Unique and a sweet read. Too juvenile for my liking. All Cordy and her boyfriend ever did where snog. Now admittedly it is a book not really for me but I still enjoyed it and I liked reading about how Jazz deals with her new life, the good, the bad and the ugly. Book supplied by author in exchange for a honest review. Certainly an author to watch out. For me I would give it 3 stars but this is just my personal opinion. Everybody should read this book for themselves and make their minds up.

Those that at first make you doubt but when you hold onto them they surprise you. After reading like 10% or so – I almost did not continue my reading – I have this 3 chapter / 10% rule – I love reading but my time is precious … so I was struggling in my decision if I should continue or not it was not an easy decision.

I am glad that I continued because suddenly my interest was piqued again and I found myself in well developed mystery that until the very end of this book leaves many open questions for the reader.

And yes you will “grit your teeth” I am sure – because even if the author gave the reader a fair warning about the cliffhanger … well – it is what it is – cliffhangers are called THAT for a reason. Anyway – I can not wait to get the next part of this book

I recommend to not read any further in my review and go ahead to read the book…

For me personally it was because of it’s predictability not a very good story. Basically the plot had everything that it needed to be a captivating story.

The writing was fluent and the characters interesting enough for me to relate to them.But unfortunately during the whole reading I felt I was missing the spark.

I could not connect to April and Steven and I could not feel what was supposed to be happening. I guess I am really a sucker for the more deeper kind of novels.

It would be unfair to say this book is bad – as I am sure that there are a lot of readers that will like it, therefore I will blame my special taste, when I say for me it was too predictable and to shallow.

Despite the risk it poses to his life and hers, he wants to know her, and he wants her to know him–and his world.

Let me start with what disturbed me when I finished reading Heartbound by P.I. Alltraine – and that was basically one thing only ….

It was the fact that there is a cliffhanger of sorts as the book cannot be finished that way and there is no indication upfront on this being a more part series.

This might be not a big issue to most but since I have been kind of “burned” by some authors (like waiting now since several years on the last part of a series) I would like to know what I am getting myself into.

I also had some trouble reading the format that was given to me on my E-Reader as it would not allow me to adjust the letter size. Now lets start with my thoughts about the actual story.

The book is quite short with little over 170 pages and after reading the first chapter the writing style should have already been an indication that this book could _NO WAY_ be finished in just 170 pages. The story is far to complex for that and there was a lot of attention paid to details.

The authors way of storytelling reminds me of the way historical novels are written and I was not surprised to hear afterwards that she is known to write poems. The subject was not totally new but the way it was approached was interesting and if you like the powerful way that historical novels are written you will find this storyline interesting as it is kind of contemporary (as far as the story allows) and basically paranormal with a touch of poetry woven into it.

Kind of difficult to explain but interesting to read nevertheless.

I am not sure why I personally cannot feel the great romance between the leads but that might be due to the fact that I am not into historical romances – which even convinces me more that this book is somehow strangely more related to those than to any other genre. Or it might be the fact that I am missing a kind of balance between the leads.

The whole story is relying very heavy on Petyr and Scarlet remains bleak to the reader until the last chapters.

But still it was a very interesting read that I plan to continue with the next book because I cannot let the last words of this book be my last words on this story
