But I must say goodbye. AdiÃ³s. Au revoir. Ta-ta forever, ta-tas. The joke isnât so funny now that I have even more to lose.

Review : It is nice to see a romance novel that is also able to face some serious issues in a sensitive way. I enjoyed reading it very much. At times, I felt that that SHE was trying too hard to push him away â almost creating a âself-fulfilling prophecyâ â even if it is understandable, where she is coming from to begin with. However, it is a good thing HE did not let her push him away. Having problems of his own to deal with, he was still a very sweet and sensitive person. It was a nice change comparing it to other novels where usually the guys would have to be âthe sensitive Bad Boyâ in a similar setting.

Overall, a recommendable story in a well-written form that I managed in one session – go ahead and enjoy.

Review : I must admit this book was a surprise to me. Expecting a nice read I found a deep romance novel. Beau and Matisse each struggle with their own set of problems. And each of them copes in a different way. One thing is for sure both of their ways suck big time â but on the bright side â both of them know it. Things are not always like they appear on the outside. And we learn while some people suffer in silence, others tend to leash out to hide their hurt. I loved the development between Beau and Matisse. There might be voices that think it was to slow but I feel it was just right and suited their characters. The reader has enough time to get to know bot of them. Which is a part that I found often neglected in novels lately. No matter how good steaming hot sex can be, sometimes nothing is sweeter than anticipating the first kiss. I basically only had on slide problem with the plot. I could understand his reasons for not having a relationship in the beginning and once he made up his mind I even fully understood when he was “pissed” because naturally he was “jealous” – what I did not get was why she was always moving forward and backward in her line of thinking. In the beginning it made sense, as he was equally giving the wrong signals at all times. But as the story moved along her wavering attitude really lost its meaning.

Anyway this is a solid 4 Stars read and I am looking forward to the next Releases of that series

Noah is sweet, he’s ridiculously sexy, he’s teaching my headstrong first grader how to read, and even his snoring is at an acceptable level of loudness. I can’t wait to marry this man. There’s only one thing that can stop us from living happily ever after:

For people like me that love this genre so much Annabelle Costa is a one-click. I love the writing style of this author so much (and I guess I told her that already like – probably pretty much with every review #lol). Also this book did not disappoint. I feel like I would repeat myself saying I loved this and that about it .

In case you are wondering why only 4 Stars ? – well basically because the author did a great job -lol- To explain: I need to feel for and with the characters when I read a book – and doing that I need to love the plot to give a book 5 stars. Usually, I do that by placing myself in the role of the female lead while reading and I am looking at the story through her eyes. Lets be honest that is what reading romance is about (well at least for me)

So what happend ? Well Ms. Costa told a great story with well developed characters BUT to tell that specific story she had to place her characters in certain sitations causing the characters to react and ME? while I was in my imaginary role of Bailey – well I disliked myself #hahahaha (DON’T LAUGH) and sorry Ms. Costa but I freaking despised Theo.

So you did well #hahahah ….

Only in the end looking back I can not get over Bailey not even sure why – #sigh hmm no thats not true – I do know why but to explain I would have to list all the things that happend and I am not into spaming plot therefore there will be no details on this from me – if it helps … I loved Noah with the same passion with which I despised Theo ….

Review : Such a wonderful short story. So much truth … I believe its not really the story itself but what we learn that made this book amazing. Its a real good example how an author manages to give the characters such a depth in a real short story.

Review : Similar to the first book here its also the lesson behind the story that seems to be the important thing. At least it was to me. It is a wonderful story. And it’s again beautifully written with little words. This is the way shortstorys should be.

Author Note: Breaking Her Rules is the sixth story in the Red Stone Security series but can be read completely as a stand-alone.

Review : It is nice to see that there are still series out there that do not require the reader to read all their books to be able to follow the storyline. Breaking Her Rules is part 6 of Red Stone Security and even though I did not read the first 5 parts, I had no problems at all to follow the plot. The Book is well written and the reader finds some action besides the love affair, which unfortunately is also getting less and less in newer books that tend to focus only on the steaming sex between the main characters. In Breaking Her Rules we find two strong leads that are not only equal in their stubborn streaks but also in their skills as former Marines. They might be friends for a very long time but now they find themselves in a total new environmentâ¦ I leave it up to the other readers to find out more about that. Only so much â It is not easy for a Bodyguard to protect the client, when the client has a real problem with the Bodyguard getting hurt. However, letâs say this book is really worth reading.
