I know, I know…. I’m late to the party… But I had a lot to deal with. But now I finally got the time to read Next Time I Fall (Excess All Areas #2) by Scarlett Cole. And you know what…… It was fantastic! I know… that’s no suprise, because all books from Scarlett are amazing. This series got something special. I don’t know if it’s the anger or the hate between each character, but there is this energy that you can’t ignore.

I was really excited for this grumpy and broken hero. I also loved the spirited heroine. Even if they didn’t know it, they were just perfext for each other. And despite all these strong emotions the love between them is is only growing.

So now I’m catching up on the third book from this series and I’m so excited!

I found this book while preparing for a book convention this year. I went over the list of authors selecting which ones I did not know so far that sounded interesting – I did not read anything except the blurb – no reviews nothing – and I can only recommend to you to not read any spoilers at all.

So to remain true to this statement I will not say anything about the story.

The only reason I started writing this review was to leave a message for the author.

These two books are the best books I have read in a long time from a “to me totally new author” …. and I can not wait to tell you that in person … wow – simply wow – and trust me when I tell you I read more than 300 books a year so it takes a lot to still be able to surprise me.

I checked other plots from this author too when selecting something to read for the convention but their storylines did not speak to me. This also is one of the things that I often found while reading really great authors … their plots vary so you will not love everything they write – for me it is a sign that it will always be interesting to check for new books because you will never know what to expect (this is also known as the Colleen Hoover effect hahahah).

If you are planning to go to the RARE Convention in Edinburgh this year and look for a new author? …. If you love a romance that is bound to kill you will reading? Well you came to the right place – you want to read this series – trust me….
