Merciless Prince (Brutal Reign, #1) by Sasha Leone was a first for me. My first real Dark Mafia Romance and the first book from this author. So I really had no idea what to excpect. I just thought I give it a try. Well…. I didn’t excpect to find myself on the craziest ride of a rollercoaster. This story had me really sitting on the edge. It is so dark, so intense and so emotional. When you hear the thoughts from the two protagonists, you get the feeling of living through the emotions by yourself. You have no other chance, but to feel with them. The chemistry between Aidan and Elisa is really explosive. Like ice and fire. But also so passionate. Their development throughout the story is incredible. They both struggle with their past, and it is amazing how they work things out. Despite the fact, that this book was a first for me, I have no other choice but to leave 5 stars. It was fantastic and I’m so excited to read the next book from the Brutal Reign series. |
