Review :Line of Fire by HelenKay Dimon was a tough read for me. I really wanted to like the characters as the basic plot appealed to me very much. But somehow I could not connect to them in the way I needed to. Usually I say that I need to feel something in order to review properly â and that means either good or bad feelings. But I never expected to feel so indifferent in a plot like this. The writing is actually quite good and I cannot even say that the characters are developed poorly. It is just that I simply do not like them that much and it was actually the plot that made me finish the book. If you like a kind of second chance romance, where the structure of who leads and who follows is not so clear as you might think than this might be your book. I on the other side will have to try another book from this author to see if it was just this book that did not âdoâ it for me or if it is a general writing style of this author.
