She enters a mysterious room and is thrown back to 1979.Distraught and destitute, Michelle finds a job as a secretary at Unionville High, where she guides her spirited younger self, Shelly Preston, and childhood friends through their tumultuous senior year. Along the way, she meets widowed teacher Robert Land and finds the love and happiness she had always sought. But that happiness is threatened when history intervenes and Michelle must act quickly to save those she loves from deadly fates. Filled with humor and heartbreak, THE JOURNEY gives new meaning to friendship, courage, and commitment as it follows an unfulfilled soul through her second shot at life

Review :

For me this book is great and full of adventure. It´s great to get yourself lost in the book as there are plenty of opportunities! Reading feels like living another life again throughput the eyes of the protagonist , a character that is really interesting and also the key to actually being able to feel the story.

It’s like getting another chance to live your life again.
People always say that everyone deserves a second chance. But that means only in friendship and love. Not in live our lifes again. That shows us that we must take risks and opportunitys. For me this is the message of the book and this makes me think about my life.
You only live once, so think twice before you take another step.
