Review : The Escort by Laura Marie Altom is the third book of the “Shamed” series – it can be read without the first two. But I would recommend reading the books in the right order to fully enjoy the story. Ms. Altom’s writing leaves no whishes open and her characters are beautifully described. After reading the first two books , getting to hear Carols and Nathans was what the readers were waiting for – and you will not be disappointed.
