Gena Showalter is known for her paranormal romances, but I think in “The Closer You Come” she shows perfectly that she can really handle a romance in every kind of setting. I am not sure if it is necessary to mention that her writing style is flawless and the storyline is fluent. What might be really worth a mention is the humor and the dialogues between our leads in this book.Although I must admit that I do not like how they meet and maybe due to this “start” I was struggling a little to connect to them in the way I should. Because the actual plot is really good and with another way for them to meet it would have been a 5 star book (I only add this for better understanding) So go ahead and enjoy this great piece :- )
