Review : Simmering Ice by Veronica Forand & Susan Scott Shelley is a heartbreaking novel about two people desperate to NOT fall in love again. It was a pure joy as a reader to follow their developing relationship despite the fact that they were avoiding having one – hard !The writing of this novel is flawless, fluent and at a steady pace. The reader simply has to enjoy this book – there is no avoiding that fact. Even though it is part of the Atlantic City Hustlers series it works perfectly as a standalone. In total – a very recommendable read.
