For The Love of Ash by Taylor Lavati was a really well written and complex novel. The characters were really deep and the story was well developed.
I really liked each and every one of those 3 amazing persons. But I was missing a little balance in this really complex novel. On one side the author mentions colors and designs of items that have no real influence in the story and on the other side the really important (non)relationship with the grandmother is only kind of placed on the sideline.
I could understand her need to be a good âmotherâ to Ash but I could not fully grasp why she was so afraid to loose Ash to her Grandmother. Because there were so many reasons a judge could have decided to give Ash to the Grandparents in the first place and if he did NOT do that â there must have been pretty good reasons to NOT do that â so all those threats did no really hit a mark with me.
Maybe a little more background would have done the trick, I will never know â¦
Anyway if I leave that aside⦠there is still the wonderful description of a real emotional love story left that I would like to recommend warmly for you all to read.
