Review : Fairytale Beginnings by Holly Martin really had a storyline like its title suggests. The writing was solid and the characters nice enough. Both Milly and Cameron have suffered their fair share of bad experiences. And the storyline will warm the readers heart for sure.
But if a book wants to be understood so specific like this book, the reader (me) expects a certain setting and certain feelings to appear throughout the story. The setting was good – but the dialogues between the characters felt stiff at times and I could not come up with the necessary feelings for both of them to feel the story.
Given any other name it might have been enough but under the given circumstances I also expected a Fairytale Dialogue – maybe my mistake.
But still an enjoyable read I would like to other readers
