Review : Teagan and Kane – wow … this book simply blew my mind.
I have no idea honestly how to write a review on this one.
First of all – it is not my first from this author so I was actually doing a happy dance when I saw I could read this as an ARC. I already knew I was probably going to love the authors writing style – but you never know if you like a plot right ?
And OMG – did I LOVE that plot … from the Blurb you would never imagine how the content was going to develop and when I felt I knew which way the story was going I got so excited to see how the author was going to pull the reader into it.
And she did it – she SO did it – (again I have to say).
L.A. Fiore is such an amazing author … surly one of my favorites – well OK I admit I got several favorites but only like 2or3 for each genre and in this specific genre I guess L.A. Fiore is side by side with Colleen Hoover.
There is no name for this kind of genre – at least not an official one like “contemporary romance” or so. It is more a way of writing style. The reader is drawn into a story and even though every story is totally different from the last (which is also a signature mark for their writing style) those authors have a way of capturing you every time.
You just see a new book coming and know you are going to love every minute of it. They manage to place a small surprise into the book and their way of writing gives you the feeling that even this small “thing” blows your mind.
In “A Glimpse of the Dream” it was actually 2 small things – one is among the storyline and would give to much away – but the other one is simply the fact that you read through the life of 2 people for about 20 years without even noticing the time.
The story just told itself and at one time I checked I had only read 50 % of the book – so I wondered what else could an author place inside this wonderful story that already felt so complete for another 50 % without ruining it – or going overboard ?
But this is the miracle of this authors writing – there are some books with good plots that loose themselves in the last chapters, or rush to the end – some even “overdose” and leave the readers with an “What the xxx did just happen here” feeling – but this book – no let me be specific – THIS AUTHOR – leaves you with a very intense feeling of being complete.
Please enjoy reading this book and all the others of this author 🙂 as much as I did and will continue to….
