Review : I feel so lucky to have received this ARC for review. It was such a brilliant change to other novels I have read lately.
The balance of all “ingredients” for a good romance novel was near perfection. There was enough “steam” between the leads, without being overwhelming. The mystery was present and made me wonder until the last pages where to look for the Responsible. I even admit I only got parts of them right in my guessing. The dialogues between the characters were witty, serious and sexy (depending :-D). And all leads were developed deep enough to feel believable The background of the story and where the characters “came” from was explained thoroughly, so there were absolutely no holes in the story and nothing the reader could not understand. My personal note to the author! I actually found myself using Google to find if there is really any mythical background to Caith’s name. And I found just ONE reference, which is a real odd thing, if you consider Google’s normal behavior. This Single Reference was the book itself. Brilliant move. Brilliant name – loved it!
