Review : I just finished reading “Wash me away” by Wendy Owens – and I am still kid of speechless.
The author had my interest the moment the first quote came. I am not sure how intentional it was – but quoting “mommy dearest” sort of set my mood for the complete book. It was the perfect quote for a real great story. I cannot find anything to complain about in that book – wow – wait – did I just say that ? Nothing – really ? Let me check again – there must be something … #checking
Nope…
The way this story approaches some real heavy and serious issues is so sensitive that it really makes you feel with the characters.
Ok I admit in reality, when you think about it there is a quite some cliché and even a little too much coincidence inside the story – but for this book that is totally fine as it helps to bring across the basic point.
It simply is a great story. A solid writing and I would love to read more from this author for sure.
I can only encourage you to read it…
