Review :The Ghost Hunter by Lori Brighton was my first book by this author. Looking back I really have no idea why I kept it on my eBook reader that long without reading it. It was a mistake definitely and I can only say in my defense that I guess I have to many books on my list to read.
This book was amazing!!!
The author kept me guessing for a long time what was going on and if Christian was now on of the good guys or not. Also the appearance of Devon was a nice twist of events. I totally dislike historical romances but somehow this novel had the “flair” of one just without all the stuff that I dislike so much and that is what made it really special. And this interesting “town” that the author created sounds like the perfect source for more novels to this series.
The plot was well developed and the characters were so deep that I had no problems to dive into the story and simply feel it. The writing is wonderful and fluent – so you can be sure that I will read the next one of the series too as soon as my schedule allows it – I’ve been keeping that one also far too long I guess
