| Do you know that moment when you really want to love a book but there is just too much going wrong that you can not ignore? This plot here is the perfect example. The plot idea is great and it really could have been a wonderful story – I could not put it aside even if I was shaking my head all the way to the end. I am known for not using spoilers but here I have to ignore my own rule so do not read further if you want to avoid spoiler …
<spoiler>Teachers looking the other way – while knowing and acknowledging that a student is not only bullied but seriously harmed – the same teachers also looking the other way when said student finally finds a way to strike back using drugs? and in the grand finale, a student gets expelled for pushing another student down the stairs … on purpose… in front of witnesses (in my books an attempted murder- but I might have seen too many episodes of law and order – oh and my favorite a minor going with his teacher into a casino to win money – and these are only my highlights </spoiler> So yeah I wanted to love this book but as that did not happen I obviously had to give you some reasons why that did not happen.
