I am confused. Really confused…. Actually the first 50 % of this book, I was just like “Ok, this book is….strange. Nice story, but the writing style was just too much!”
I knew right from the beginning that I like Vincent as there is something about him which makes him really interesting. About Lisa I actually can’t say the same as her personality is too contradictory-so it’s pretty difficult to connect with her. I still didn’t really like the way how Vincent talks about woman as it wasn’t presented in the right way in my opinion. The writing style is the reason why I didn’t like the book the first half. But then there was some point which changed everything. I don’t know what it was exactly, but I guess it is the moment we are able to see what happens under the inked skin from Vincent. From this point on, the story got me! I have to admid that I haven’t read the first two books so my review is totally based on this one. But I am sure after reading the third book: the story behind the presentation is awesome, for sure also in the other books!
