Review : Creating this story around the idea of a one-night-stand was a great idea to handle this book. But unfortunately what was basically a beautiful idea did not work out so well. It is very difficult to give the characters enough depth so that the reader can relate to them. And this was precisely what I was missing here. The initial story was really good, but even though the story was told from a dual point of view which allowed the reader to âlookâ into the head of Jack/John and Vanessa, I still could not come up with the emotions I need to really like a book. As the writing style was really good I truly believe that with a view more pages this could have been a real good book. And I am sure to pick up another longer novel from this author.
