Now heâs abandoned the rock ânâ roll lifestyle for the peaceful sanctity of his recording studio, but when fiery Cleo Compton comes to work for him, she brings chaos with her. Cleo Compton has had her flings with rockstarsâand itâs left her wary and bruised. Julian may have those sexy bedroom eyes and drool-worthy tattoos, but Cleo is determined to keep things strictly professionalâuntil Julian turns out to be every dream sheâs ever chased. When he risks it all to hit the road with a band again, Cleo fears heâll return as the one thing she can no longer abideâa rockstar.
Review : I guess I should have understood the Blurb of this Novel precisely the way it was written. It really was a kaleidoscope of synesthesia, which basically would have not been a problem. But the “psychedelic” part should have warned me. I really really wanted to like this book, but it felt like a trip back in time. The complete writing style felt strange to me and I could honestly not connect to the characters, even if the story itself was not bad. And the 3 stars I still give are really just for the storyline itself.
