Review : I had a real hard time rating this … After having to wait on the realease of the ebook more than a week longer than others had to wait for their Paperback – I finally dove into it last weekend – and I was not disapointed – BUT I knew I could not expect another Jesse – and honestly THAT was not my problem at all. Miller was good – Miller was really good – an absolute worthy successor of Jesse – My problem was of a different kind … It was Olivia … somehow she really got on my nervs … she didn’t do anything in this book that I could relate to … In fact almost everything she did made it worse for everybody When reading “This man” I had a similar point in the FIRST book – but over the books the development was so good that if simply fit in the story But here I felt it was going backwards in their development – I can not help myself – I almost felt sorry for Miller … It would have worked when at the end it would have been Olivia to really “save” Miller in that room… but honestly ? it was HER MUM … or maybe in the final seconds if it would have been Olivia to give some final action or words to Charlie – but NOPE Miller had to do that himself … Well … sorry but Olivia lost the book one star … But still I would buy any new Book from Jodi if her male leads continue to be like they have been until now
