Review :
The Asset (Wounded Warrior #1) by Anna del Mar was a surprising book at almost every chapter turn.
What started out as a (what I thought) predictable love story â turned fast into an rollercoaster of all sorts. The emotions were running high between the two leads and I really liked that both of them were strong and soft at the same time.
Where I expected the typical lover dialogues that try to hide secrets just to reveal them in one big bang. â I got âAshâ instead who knew from the first page on that âLiaâ was hiding something.
Also there was far more action and suspense than I would have expected. In total this was a well written and fully developed novel, with deep characters that were bend but not yet to be broken.
