Review :

Find Me – Part One by Michelle Mankin leaves you wanting for more …

I cannot wait for the next part. I was honestly struggling to pick this one up as I have a huge dislike to this new trend that tends to separate novels into 100 page parts.
Normally I have been refusing to join this trend waiting patiently until the author decides to publish the complete novel – but in the End this is the first novel where I could not stop myself from requesting the ARC.
Starting rather slow in the story but fast in the buildup of the relationship between the main characters I was not sure in the beginning if I liked the story development.
I could not see how those two leading characters fell for each other so instantly (again I must point out that I am NO believer of Insta love – I am the girl that needs a kind of build up to the point of the love declaration)
But a few more chapters into the story I could easily attempt to neglect my beginning doubts and once I did – I could actually feel with the characters. And now so far I like the development.
Actually it is just starting to get good and this plotline promises interesting developments. But how can I judge a book when I only read like 1/3 of it – this is one of the problems I have with series and especially with such separated books.
It is very hard for me to only judge this part I have in front of me as for me the whole development counts.
I would like to give this part of the book my kind of tentative 4 Stars with room for development in both directions … lets see what happens next …
