Review :True Love by Melissa Pearl is the 5th book in the Songbird series but for me it was the first book I read from this author. The writing is flawless and the plotline is interesting enough to hold the readers attention. And while I could relate to the storyline in general and to Jimmy in specific … Nessa and I didn’t start on a good note … somehow unfortunately. I guess I am no big fan of this kind of heroine. It is not that I need them to be specifically strong or weak to appeal to me, it was just that that I did not like certain characteristic of her and therefore I had a hard time to find a reading routine. So while this book was not on of my favorites – I am sure there will be many fans for it as my dislike for Nessa is just my personal thing. Even I would try another book of this author as her writing style is quite good. So go ahead and give it a try if you feel that the blurb appeals to you.
