Review :

Ms. Aurora is a sly fox. Lev popped up on my radar about a fortnight before it was released. Admittedly I wasn’t sure at the beginning but I loved it. Her Friend Zoned Series was great but Raw kind of freaked me out.

Mina Harris has had a hard life up till now. She has a 5 star dumpster and nothing to eat. She is skin and bones and desperate. You can do a lot of things you don’t want when desperation kicks in. Mina tries to make the best of a pretty abysmal situation but it isn’t that easy.
Lev Leokov works with his brother Sasha and Viktor. He lives on the shady side of life. He is different compared to his brother, sister and everyone else. I adored Lev. At the best of times he was clueless, oblivious but has a heart of gold. If I didn’t like Mina that much I would say she is a total bitch. The best thing about Lev apart from being overprotective, alpha, and despite his uniqueness, he has a daughter.
I love men with rugrats. There is just something that makes me all gooey inside. If you haven’t experienced a lot of love and if you don’t speak a language everyone understands then it can become quite lonely. Mina walks into Lev’s gentlemen club, Lev clocks her straight away. Mina lifts Sasha’s wallet and nearly gets away with it.
She contemplates to take the 800 $ but only takes 100 $ that is until Lev catches her and offers her three possibilities.
1.) Get kicked out,
2.) Call the police or
3.) Come home with Lev including a job, food etc.
Let’s not be stupid here but I would also choose option 3.
The hero, Leo is different to most heroes and I loved how Mina was there for him in everything especially in his sometimes volatile nature. They balanced one another. They have a beautiful romance and love together and in true Lev fashion he tries to be flowery, fails completely although he doesn’t need to be. So this didn’t bother me but I know some people who will be bothered about o/w being involved.
Annika, Annika, Annika. I’m sorry love but you picked the wrong brother even if he did take your virginity. Which was likely around ten years ago. But unrequited love hard to handle. I hope that she finds what she is looking for.
Now I know that some are iffy when it comes to this that there was another women etc. but it this case it really was not really relevant to me. But different strokes. We also see cameo’s from the ‘Friend Zoned’ Series and this is my one of my favorite parts of the book from Lev.
