Kai – There is nothing I care about. No attachments. No connections. Outwardly, I’m a perfect gentleman until my target sees my knife .I fear nothing, not even death. In my world, death is considered a privilege. But my life comes with unbreakable cruel strings andwhen I met her, I should’ve walked away.I didn’t. I was too selfish. And that sealed her fate. Because one week with me led her into the hands of ruin.

London – We all have unique layers that make up who we are. What makes us vulnerable or strong. What we fear and what excites us. But peel back those layers and you’re left naked and exposed. They did that to me. Each piece was slowly stripped away then burned. I merely existed. But there was one layer they overlooked. The most important of them all—the tie to one man. The man responsible for me being this way. The man who found me. And the killer who would do anything to protect me.
Review :

Having read several other books of Nashoda Rose – it was a given that I was going to like the authors writing style and story development – when I picked “Perfect Ruin” as my first book in the “Unyielding” series.

Let me admit at this point to my mistake in picking this book before reading “Perfect Chaos” which would have been the first book in that series. Even if “Perfect Ruin” works on its own as a standalone – I can not recommend to read it alone as you are definitely missing out.
Let me ask you a question at this point – could you see yourself falling in love with a Killer ?
No ?
Well my answer was the same – until I met Kai.
There is no sugarcoating the fact KAI is a KILLER.
But reading this book you will find yourself falling for him. There is not much more I can tell you without to much spoilers about the story itself.
The author’s very special writing style brings a killer so close to your heart, that you can almost see and feel for yourself what happens to this almost soulless shell of a man when he is drawn to London.
The developing storyline might be predictable at times but the writing of Ms. Rose brings your mind to a state of bliss that you will overlook certain clichés with pleasure.
She brings such great care to all of her characters that you will always find yourself in a position of automatically wanting to read anything that appears on your radar from this author.
Every masterpiece of Nashoda Rose is a new rollercoaster ride for the readers to enjoy…
