Instalove by Lexy Baker is an interesting example of how a Book title can be the total opposite of the content. If there was something “Insta” in this book it was Instagram and definitively NOT Love.

Declan and Avery were interesting characters and the story drawn by the author was a really good one. I liked their witty banter that bordered more on hate than love most of the times.

The dialogues were what really “made” the bookIt was only when it came to the actual storyline that I felt there were holes that were too big to ignore. Things that the Characters did or not did that I felt needed explanation.

Like – did it actually happen or was it just a lie that was told to hurt somebody (sorry I cannot go into details without spoilers). Or there were actual lies told but the reader never got the details. Some stuff just did not add up to me.

Maybe that is just me – but I was missing out on details sometimes – and that bothered me on one or two occasions a lot. As a result, I can say that I liked the story idea and the dialogues between the leads but unfortunately I cannot see the romance in this book.

But still in general this was an enjoyable read and I would like to leave it up to you to judge for yourself what you think.
