Review :

When I stumbled upon “The Absolution of Aidan” by Kathy Coopmans I did not know it was the 3rd book of “The Syndicate series”.

Hence the fact that I stumbled into the story not knowing what had happened in the first chapter. But proving to be written by a good author the story drew me in fast after that and now after finishing I only feel compelled to read the first two books to find out what happened before this point.
And I am sure – due to this authors writing style it will be ok to read them in the wrong order (which should not stop the “regular” reader to start in the right order, when you plan to read the series #laughing)
When I found my way around the plot after being thrown directly into the setting I found a compelling story with great characters. The leads were described in an intense but easy understandable way.
Even the secondary characters are full of depth that proves that the former book must have had the same level of writing style and intensity. I could connect fully to the characters and the story and the book fulfilled its purpose to draw me into its story.
