Review :

Tara Wyatt new “Bodyguard” series offers a fresh view on an often used theme. With “Necessary Risk”, she sets a high aim for the next books to follow up.

As she seems to be a new author, I must say that this is really a surprisingly well-written and well-developed novel if it is really her first, it kind of reminds me of series of well known romance authors who have been doing their fair share of books over the years.
Not only the leading characters are well developed, but also the secondary characters make it quite easy for you as reader to imagine the next leading characters of upcoming novels.
As usual I was having some problems with the part of the Insta attraction/love that happened within the first like 10 pages – but this is one of my very personal issues.
The rest of the plot is well developed and makes it easy for the reader to follow the story and feel for the characters. I am not going into the story itself as that would contain to many spoilers.
Just saying that some stuff was easy to figure out while other stuff was only clear on the second view, which was a main reason that this book is able to keep the readers attention even if the basic plot is quite clear. In total a recommendable read and a good start in a new series.
I really would like to read the next one of that series too.
