A brand new contemporary romance from New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans.

He’s my most delicious secret.
The hot Suit I had a one-night stand with one evening.
I didn’t know anything about him, not even his name.
Only that we shared a taxi, and he was staying at the hotel where I worked.
We met in room 1103. Where he commanded not only my body but my soul.
The next day he was gone and I only had a memory of him.
I could still taste his kisses, feel his demanding touch.
I searched for him for months. Daydreaming about him. Wondering if I’d ever find him.
Until the day I find myself staring face to face with his jeweled black eyes again.
He says lets keep it casual, and my heart knows that falling for this workaholic in a three-thousand-dollar suit is off the table.
Because he has a secret. One that’s a deal breaker for me.
My Suit has a name.
Ian Ford.
And this is our story.

*This book is connected to Tycoon, but it can also be read as standalone.

Ms. Evans sure knows how to throw you right in the middle of a story. I read and loved several books by this author but this was actually the first time that I was out of my depth for a moment.  When I started reading I was standing right in the middle of something intense and hot without even knowing how I got there.

Interesting feeling – must have been kind of how the female lead felt at that moment so it’s a real accomplishment to transfer that feeling right to the reader without even knowing much about the protagonists at that point.

The Story of “Mogul” somehow starts backwards ? in the middle ? I am really not sure how to describe it . One thing is sure – it runs alongside the storyline of Tycoon and we get to see some of our favorite leads again in the sidelines.

The Focus of the story around that guy in the suit is not something that is kept a secret so there were no grand revelations after the Suit got a Name. It was more about the struggle of two persons with trust.

I personally felt that the male lead was judged and sentenced without haven given a reason to be treated like that. #prejudice much? – So I was not sure if I was really loving the female lead much. At least at the beginning.  During the story we came to some sort of understanding…

Still for IAN alone its worth the read – lol …..

So my thoughts on Mogul – I was expecting some BANG to happen … thinking there would be a huge secret like the Blurb suggested – but … yeah … BUT ( I am going to leave it at that) …

The issues – the struggles … I know I sound unfair but reading what happened to the secondary characters here ( the ones that stared in Tycoon) actually had more intensity at certain points than the plotline of Mogul.  Its not a bad story but knowing this author I somehow expected something that never came. Anyone here that read REAL by this author ? Yes ? Well than you get what I mean … No? OMG – you need to please …

I really liked Tycoon – and Mogul was not bad ( don’t misunderstand me here – I guess I am kind of spoiled by Katy Evans so this is  really just complaining at a high level I guess. Anyway the glimpses we got at Bekka and her Hollywood guy? – well they left me wanting more. I guess nothing ever changes that when it comes to Ms. Evans writing. You always crave the next book.

For me this book was a solid written 4 star story that was only missing a little more excitement – because not all books can be 5 star reads – right ? . The authors writing was beautiful and I am pretty sure the next story will again be a 5 star piece if she adds her usual twist back into it.
