Wren O’Brien isn’t your typical female. As the only girl from a loud Irish family with seven siblings, she prefers fast cars to lip gloss and bad boys to good men. It’s the reason she’s nursing a wounded soul and keeping her distance from a dangerous ex.

Evan Jonah is running an empire and just moved from the lavish thoroughfares of London to the gritty streets of Philadelphia. When he walks into the nearest dealership, he’s expecting to find a reliable vehicle to handle the brutal winters, not a sexy female car rep with killer legs.

Wren doesn’t know why “Hotness in a Suit” asked her out. She doesn’t expect a great time or a night of passion that knocks her on her ass. But that’s exactly what Evan shows her.

She also never counted on how hard and fast she’d fall. But men like Evan—good men with even better hearts—don’t desire tough-talking Philly girls for long.

Evan has never met a woman like Wren. But he’s up for the challenge and ready to prove her wrong.

As I am book obsessed and I know that I am surrounded by like-minded people. I’m sure that you know that when you go on a book one click binge or request binge that you are so stuck in your mania that you can’t really remember what you did. Never happened to you? Then you’ve never lived.

When after a couple of weeks you back track to see what is on your kindle and you realise that you have a book that you requested you recognise the author from one other book you read by her and it didn’t quite work for you. Is like shite what was I thinking?

I do not back down from a challenge so I took the plunge and read it anyway. Let me tell you something.

I love everything about this book. I’m floored by how much I actually enjoyed it.

Wren O’Brien comes from a big, loud and boisterous Irish family. Wren is actually one of my favourite female main characters that I’ve read this year. She has a heart of gold. She is funny, potty mouthed, clever, sassy but has a vulnerable side that not a lot of people see not even her family does. She isn’t your typical female and that is exactly why I love her. She is a lady who I would go out and get rat arsed with. I’m totally girl crushing on her.

Evan Jonah is the opposite of Wren he has a quiet strength to him. He is a nerd on the surface but in reality he is an absolute beast. Especially in the bedroom. His intelligence is sexy as hell. He’s always been somewhat of a loner and kept himself apart from the rest of the world.

On the surface they couldn’t be more different. Evan likes chess. Wren likes sports, Evan has no clue.

“You don’t watch sports?” He shakes his head. “I suppose the races are out of the question.” “Horse races?” Jesus God, help me. “NASCAR,” I clarify.

Evan has been waiting for a woman like Wren, hell even the in your face Irish family. But dig a little deeper and they are made for one another. They have things in common and the things they don’t? Makes the even better together.

They are explosive in the bedroom and although Wren has always kept an impeccable reputation she can’t help but fall for Evan. And they both fall hard. But not all is smooth sailing. Wren has a sociopathic stalker. There are several close calls.

There is a great balance of suspense with banter and passionate that makes you want to read it as soon as possible. At the end I was left wanting more.

“Sauron, you’re eleven. I’m twenty-eight. I know you don’t want to hear this, but you and me, are never going to happen. By the time you’re old enough to drive I’ll already be two point five kids in, driving a mini-van packed with diapers, binkies, and one of those bouncy chairs your little sister can’t get enough of.” “Love knows no age limits, baby,” he counters.

I love Ms. Robson’s writing style in this book and will at some point go and back track and read the first two books in the series and hope to see more of this hilarious Irish family.

My verdict is that I would reread it again without a shadow of a doubt. But the one thing I was irritated by is that I didn’t get an epilogue.
