I have a crush on my boss’ best friend.
At least it’s not my brother’s best friend.
Or my best friend’s brother.
Or… never mind. It’s all pretty cliche.
And worse? My boss’ best friend is his business partner. Which sort of makes him my boss too. Okay – it’s not sort of. It’s definite. Gabe Laurent is off limits. Totally off limits.
Which is fine. I make do with my imagination. He’ll never know. Ever. Unless my work bestie passes me an eighties-style teen movie sex quiz during a meeting and I fill it out.
And it ends up in Gabe’s hands…
Somehow and I don’t know how but Ms. Aston knew that I haven’t to this day read a book by her. So the sneaky woman that she is, I was granted an ARC of Fling. Now I thought she couldn’t get any sneakier but after reading Fling I’m sure she had calculated the odds that I would most certainly add the first two books to my list.
Thank you for attending this boring fucking meeting. Please entertain me by taking this sex quiz. I appreciate your candid response.
Sandra is a professional at her job not in her time that she has worked for the company been anything but professional. Her best bud Preston gets her to fill out this survey and her ideal partner is in that meeting. Gabe the ideal partner just happens to see the answers to that survey.
Sandra moved to Philly due to a need to change paths. That put her straight in the path of Gabe. They have chemistry and Gabe realises that before Sandra he never had to work for a woman it was always easy pickings for him.
But Sandra is his game changer….
Sandra is awesome (I can’t call her Sandy) that name is awful. Her reaction to New Year’s Eve?
Thanks for driving me home. EPIC!!!
Fling is funny in all the right places and the balance between the Hero screwing up and making it up to the heroine is perfect. It is also sweet, and although short worth a read and I rarely read novellas. So I am a happy bunny.
I adore the ending of this book.
On a side note that the office sex scene will blow your panties away.
