You speak, I see; images before lost. You speak, I listen; opening closed souls. You speak, I feel; longing to love. Matt Reynolds, a visually impaired graduate student, refuses to let his handicap limit his life. Happy and confident even amidst the obstacles that challenge him daily, Matt allows only one thing to blind him – a belief that love will yield a dependence he is to proud to accept. |
This isn’t a bad story by all means. In fact it is a good insight into the world of a visually impaired person. And its storyline did have potential. Unfortunately I feel it feels a little dry and dusted. No offense but I think if the author would update this story a little and bring it with its technology into this decade (it has been written in the early 1990’s) … the contemporary reader (like me) would feel more at home with the characters. AND a few pinches here and there would take out the dry and it could really be quite juicy and fresh ….. So not BAD no just in need of refreshing … |
