Happy Birthday, Raven. Welcome to Noir Reformatory.
Not what every girl wants to hear on her 18th birthday, but I accepted my fate long ago. I was born with black wings, earning me a permanent jail sentence from day one.
A Noir Angel for life.
That’s fine.
I’ll own this prison just like I did back home.
Even if it’s ruled by two hot kings.
This reformatory isn’t all-girls; it’s co-ed. Which means I’m outnumbered ten-to-one by brutes with more brawn than brain. Not a problem. I thrive on aggression and this place is riddled with it. A nightmare wrapped up in an ebony cloak.
Well, bring it on, boys.
Just try and claim me.
Note: This MMF standalone romance novel is part of the Paranormal Prison collection and the start of a brand new MMF series by USA Bestselling Author Lexi C. Foss and USA Bestselling Author J.R. Thorn writing as Jennifer Thorn.
Pent-up rage and aggression from the arena caught me in the balls, spurring on our movements. Knowing she had to watch, had to listen, had to observe our every touch, only pushed us along.
I could hear her breathing, could feel her growing heat, and knew we were awakening something inside her. An intrigue that neither of us would fulfill unless she really begged.
She hadn’t earned it.
Had tried to fucking end me.
And it was on that note that I came in my pants, Zian never having touched my bare skin, his grip knowing and steady.
I yanked on him in kind, infuriated that he soiled me in such a way but turned on at the same time, my pleasure humming up and down my spine. Totally unfulfilled yet oddly complete.
My gaze found our little voyeur as I kissed Zian through his own climax, his seed warming my torso. I invited her to join us with my eyes, to lick the sticky substance from my skin, but she remained in her little corner, those black irises pulsating with bemused innocence. Better for her because she was nowhere near ready to play.
Just as we would likely never allow it.
Intimacy required trust.
And she hadn’t earned ours.
If anything, she’d only acquired our hate. Which was truly too bad because, in this place, she’d need an ally. And I wasn’t all that inclined to help her after our last experience together. Although, I knew I would, purely out of obligation to her rare existence.
“I hope you can fly better than you did yesterday,” I told her softly. “Because you’re going to need those wings, little dove.”
Zian sighed in contentment, his head hitting the pillow. “I give her a week, tops.”
“Yeah?” I smiled, amused. “I give her maybe a day.”
“Wanna make it a bet?”
“Absolutely.”
“Cool. Winner gets on his knees,” Zian decided.
Of course he would choose that. Because I would, too. “Works for me.”

My genetic markers label me as a rare omega. But inside, I’m all female alpha. And I will not heel. Not even to the Alpha of Andorra Sector.
Ander Cain promises me protection.
A new world of pleasure and pain.
But he wants all of me in return.
Even if it means taking me by force.
I’ll be damned if I give up my inner fight. I spent the last twenty years battling the walking dead. These wolves won’t know what hit them when I’m through.
Ander Cain
My life began the moment I found her, my darling little mate. She’s the force of nature Andorra Sector needs to give us hope for a future. A reason to keep going and to protect our lands from the zombie infestation beyond.
Yet she refuses to play by our rules.
Born in a time where humans will do anything to survive, she’s not used to the pack hierarchy or the laws our kind abides by. Oh, but she’ll learn. And I’ll thoroughly enjoy being the one to train her.
Katriana Cardona can fight me all she wants, but in the end, she will be mine. Whether she submits or not.
Note: This is a standalone shifter romance with omegaverse and dystopian elements. There will be three books in the X-Clan series, all featuring different couples.
Katriana froze, her petite hands gripping the comforter on either side of her hips. “Ander, please—”
“Oh, we’re past the point of begging,” I told her, sliding my belt through the loops. “Spread your legs, Omega.”
She didn’t, her instinct to rebel too strong.
Breaking her of that habit was going to take time.
Fortunately for us both, patience came naturally to me.
I dropped the leather to the ground and flicked open the button on my pants. “You’ll find that I do not enjoy repeating myself, Katriana.” Her eyes followed my movements as I slid the zipper down. “You’re also about to learn what happens when an Omega misbehaves.”
Wolves maintained a hierarchy for a reason. Alphas at the top, Betas in the middle, and Omegas at the bottom, though they were cherished treasures owned and protected by their Alpha mates.
Katriana was mine.
To punish.
To fuck.
To impregnate.
To protect.
And I couldn’t proceed with the latter if she was hell-bent on ignoring my commands.
I toed off my boots and socks, followed by my pants, leaving me clad in a pair of boxers that were far too tight for my growing arousal.
Katriana’s eyes grew wide. “No,” she breathed.
“It’ll fit,” I promised her. Despite their petite forms, Omegas were built to accommodate Alpha cock.
But she shook her head in the negative and pulled her knees up to her chest. “No,” she repeated on a snarl.
My lips twitched.
She wasn’t the only one who could make those sounds.
I returned her rumble with one of my own. However, mine held special properties. A call of sorts that an Omega couldn’t deny.
She convulsed violently in response, the hairs along her arms dancing in appreciation. “Oh God.”

Title: Happily Ever Crowned: An Underworld Royals Tale
Authors: Lexi C. Foss & Anna Edwards
Genre: Dark Paranormal
Release Date: October 1, 2019
“I do.”
Two words that signed over my soul to a monster, all to save a kingdom I knew little about. This isn’t a fairy tale. No knights in shining armor, only kings fighting for power. And my heart is the key.
A game designed to shatter even the harshest of resolves.
My husband wants to debase me. To break me. To destroy my spirit. To possess every inch of my soul through acts so heinous, I can hardly breathe. And he’s using six men to do it. Including him. Adrik, Prince of Noxia.
Desire.
Such a wicked twist of fate. Happily-Ever-After may not exist here, but amorous energy rises after a night of unbridled passion. A night I should hate, but don’t.. A night I long to repeat.
“I love you.”
A statement I will never say. Not even to him–my dark prince who plays in the shadows, engaging me in a forbidden dance of hope and adoration. He promises me a new crown, in exchange for my heart.
I crouched before her, bringing us to eye level with one another. “Do you know what your performance lacked earlier, little one?”Silence swam around us, our audience awaiting her reply. Of which she gave none, her chin jutting out in a stubborn line that intrigued my instincts. It seemed the queen wanted to play. Good.
Her husband raised his fist as if to correct the behavior himself, but I held up a hand. “Allow me, My Lord.” I had a show to put on, one I hoped would gain me his favor and allow me some much-needed alone time with his wife. “It’s rude to ignore a direct question, Valora.”
Gorgeous light blue eyes met my own, her pupils flaring the tiniest bit to display her irritation. Mmm, she didn’t like this at all. Not that I blamed her. What would it take to prompt her rebellion? To provoke her enough to kill her own husband?
“Get it over with,” she demanded. “Fuck me, if that’s your choice. Use me. Do whatever it is you please, My Prince.”
Such fire and hatred. All for someone she hardly knew. I couldn’t help my resulting smile. “Enthusiasm,” I informed her softly, tilting my head to the side. “That’s the answer, sweetheart.”
Her lips flattened. “This game bores me.”
I chuckled, adoring this feisty side of her. “Does it? Shall we make it more interesting?” I slid my hand into my pocket, palming the blade I’d just used to take out half a dozen immortal men—for her. “Kneel.”
The king wanted a demonstration, so I would provide one unlike any he could have anticipated.
Anna Edwards – All I am a British author, from the depths of the rural countryside near London. In a previous life, I was an accountant from the age of twenty-one. I still do that on occasions, but most of my life is now spent intermingling writing while looking after my husband, two children and two cats (probably in the inverse order to the one listed!). When I have some spare time, I can also be found writing poetry, baking cakes (and eating them), or behind a camera snapping like a mad paparazzi.
I’m an avid reader who turned to writing to combat my depression and anxiety. I have a love of travelling and like to bring this to my stories to give them the air of reality.
I like my heroes hot and hunky with a dirty mouth, my heroines demure but with spunk, and my books full of dramatic suspense.

And when the culprit attempts to bite, I’ll be the one who bites back. Because no one touches what’s mine, including the fiery redhead at my side. Welcome to Kylan City. I dare you all to come out and play.
Lexi C. Foss is an award winning and bestselling author of paranormal romance. She loves complex plots, twists and turns, and writing fantasy with strong, realistic elements. Many of her readers comment on how her worlds feel real, and she not-so-secretly wishes they were—at least some of them.
This is one of these books were I just don’t know how to rate it. There were times were I wanted to quit because it was annoying me but also times where I was really liking it. Basically I am on the fence.
After humans lost the war and failed miserably to be top dog the Blood Alliance was born. Where humans are no more than cattle where they are divided into factions. Where vampires and the lycans rule with terror, manipulation, indoctrination where your choices are being a slave or death. Where blood virgins are coveted, and blood day is a memorable day for all.
Characters & Chemistry
Kylan is one of the oldest vampires, he is vampire royalty but rumour has it that he is going insane as he killed his harem. He has his own region and he is known for his cruelty, sadistic and violent but he is not insane. Someone is trying to frame him.
What can I say about Kylan? I hated him at times and at other times I barely tolerated him but occasionally he did something good and I liked him kind of. We get a glimpse of his true nature and he is loyal, he treats his personnel and servants.
Rae has been at the university her whole life to train for the immortal cup and to be twelve who win immortal status. But there is a culling of all and well Rae is chosen for a harem which she despises.
Rae was strong at the beginning but somewhere along the lines she became very dependent on Kylan and I didn’t like that. She still had spirit but at times it was irritating that as a character she wasn’t what I wanted her to be.
I liked her but I don’t know she was so strong and defiant at the beginning that I missed that person at the end of the book.
There was too much sex here and I can’t believe I just said that but there was it took for me too much away from the plot. There is some sharing but that was the way of the world that the author has built. I found that to be quite disappointing.
Writing, Plot & Pace
The writing is good here and the author knows how to captivate you and write something truly unique. The author toned down on the repetitiveness here in this book which for me made it more enjoyable.
As I said the author has created a unique world. The vampire world isn’t really my thing I have always preferred shifters but this somehow worked for me. The plot of wanting the world to go back to the way it was or that all species can co-exist where humans once again have rights intrigues me very much.
The pace could have been better it ebbed too much for me and didn’t flow that well. There was a lot of push and pull and too much sex that also broke up the plot in places.
The Verdict
I really enjoy this series as it is unique. It does push me out of my comfort zone and to be honest I don’t really know why. It’s a dark and twisted world and I really enjoyed it.

Tom’s a trained sniper, not a babysitter. He kills rogue immortals for a living, but after releasing classified information to a friend, he’s banished to a remote location with the CRF’s most prized asset.
Can two tortured souls find solace and love in one another?
Secrets unfold as Tom forms a forbidden relationship with his new charge. The immortal woman evokes memories and feelings long forgotten, and forces him to question everything he’s ever known.
Sacrifices must be made.
A rash decision sends them both running for their lives as enemies vie for their heads.
Some bonds are meant to be broken. . .
“Easy way, or hard way? Ladies choice.”
Amelia’s pulse leapt. She had to clear her throat twice to speak. “Excuse me?” He couldn’t mean. . .
“Hard way it is.” Tom stepped forward, and caught her hip before she could scramble to the side.
“What-?” The words froze in her throat when his opposite hand snaked around her back to the gun tucked into her shorts.
He tsked. “Someone was in my room. Find anything else interesting while snooping?”
She bristled at that. “I was not snooping.” Liar.
“No?” He removed the weapon, and threw it on the bed. Instead of taking a step back, he placed his palm against her lower back, and pulled her closer. Her hands flattened against his chest to maintain a slight gap between them. It did nothing to ease the flutter in her lower belly, or dispel the heat climbing up her neck.
“So the gun from my nightstand magically appeared in your shorts? That’s a neat trick, sweetheart.”
“Gentleman,” Tom greeted after assembling the communication unit. “Blake sends his regards. Who wants to dance next?” Knowing his words would reveal his location, he moved deeper into the parking lot on the other side, away from the sidewalk and further from Amelia. He really hoped she’d been smart enough to hide in the car, and not try to find him.
“Hello, son,” his father replied. “You mind telling me what the fuck you’re doing?”
John Fitzgerald using curse words brought a smile to Tom’s face. He’d thoroughly pissed off the CRF’s CEO enough that he had lost his cool over the communication channel. Nice. How far could he push him?
“Right now?” Tom asked, voice low. “I’m taking out your unit. Or did you mean in general?” A flash of metal grabbed his attention. Sentinel Charlie was in a crouch position thirty feet to his left, and facing the wrong direction.
Tom shook his head. How many times had he told the man to watch his six? Idiot. He took a detour around a few cars to sneak up on his former teammate and slammed his pistol into the back of the kid’s skull.
“Well, that wasn’t even any fun,” Tom said with a dramatic sigh. “You really ought to send Charlie back to training, John. He still hasn’t mastered surveillance.”

The lines between charade and reality blur as a dark romance brews between two unlikely soulmates…
Stas isn’t your average human. She can bend others to her will, a psychic talent she’s kept hidden since the brutal murder of her parents.
Issac isn’t human at all. He’s an immortal masquerading as one of New York City’s hottest bachelors while secretly seeking revenge against a former ally.
A fateful meeting ends in a seductive proposition: He’ll teach her more about her gifts if she agrees to play girlfriend to his billionaire persona. As their lives intertwine, secrets are exposed and passion ignites. It’s a bond built to last a lifetime, if they’re willing to risk everything to protect it.
“What are you doing here, Astasiya?”
She tried to turn to face him, but he held her in place. He wouldn’t hurt her. She was sure of it. But he sounded furious.
“Answer me.”
Right. Time to improvise. “Well, most people come to clubs to dance.” Even as she said it, she knew it was an absurd excuse. She was here looking for him and he knew it.
“I don’t see you dancing.”
“That’s because I’m being manhandled.” Asshole.
“This is not a game.” The low rumble in his voice made her squirm. That tone was meant for the bedroom. It required compliance and submission, and at the same time seduced. A man of his experience would know what he wanted and how he wanted it. He would be nothing like her previous experiences.
He bit her ear to bring her back to the present. What would that mouth feel like on other parts of her body? He seemed to enjoy nibbling. Her nipples tightened at the prospect of him focusing his attentions there. “Who told you to come here?”
“Why do you care?” Her voice was a little higher than she intended. He evoked a response from her unlike any other. Not that her limited experiences was much of a comparison.
“Because whoever sent you here was trying to get you killed.”
