I’ve known Zoey since she was thirteen years old. She’s my kid sister’s best friend and I’ve always put her in the “just another annoying little sister I didn’t need” box. When my actual sister asked me to stand in on the vacation to Mykonos, I figured I had nothing to lose. I’d just busted my (ex-)girlfriend cheating on me with my neighbor, so I could use the distraction. But when I saw the voluptuous, beautiful woman at the airport, I couldn’t believe she was the same Filipina-American girl I’d known for years. I agreed to be her fake boyfriend, but I had no idea what I was getting into. This Christmas holiday vacation just got a little merrier.
I wrapped my arms around her waist and tilted my head down to look at her. She raised her head up, smiling. Her dark brown eyes sparkled from the sun shining above. She looked absolutely gorgeous. Remember, this is only pretend. Then she cupped my face and pulled me down for a kiss. Her full lips were soft, the kiss gentle. An electric charge zipped through my nerves all over my body from the touch of her lips against mine. I was caught off guard. I didn’t expect this, even with a pretend relationship. If we were going to pretend, might as well make it look realistic.
