| Life in the gargoyle clan continues as normal – they are still eager to find the remaining gargoyles and wake them. But the gargoyle, Drago isn’t interested in being part of a clan. Discarded by his own clan and tortured by humans, he cares nothing for no one. Martha hasn’t been able to sleep in months. At least, her sleep hasn’t been uninterrupted in months. When she isn’t dreaming of violence and her late father, she is being romanced by the strangest creature. Surely, a creature with wings, a tail and horns cannot be real? She puts it down to her overactive imagination. But when Martha is in danger, she realizes that her normal life isn’t quite so normal after all, and that maybe dreams can come true.
