Lauren explains, and though embarrassed, she accepts Scott and Brenner’s offer to help with hashtag number six.

Kristina Seek’s debut novel The Hashtag Hunt is easily in the top ten of my most favourite books for 2019 and the year is far from over. I read the blurb and I was right on board with the whole # Hunt.
12 hours to text 12 photos to the Wizard to win $10,000.
Sounds easy right? No it isn’t actually that easy but it sure hell is a lot of fun.
Lauren decided to sign up for the competition to get her baby Paperback Vinyl going so far she’s in the run for the prize money. She’s got her best bud Ivy with her and so they are rocking it. But the challenges are getting harder and harder.

And so Lauren & Ivy meet Brenner and Sully, let the fun and games begin because this was a riot in more ways than one. Hashtags and pictures peeps, hashtags and pictures.
I loved everything this book the banter, the situations with the challenges, it is unique, original, bloody hilarious, heart-warming and exciting and totally an unexpected read from a, did I mention debut author. It was worth taking that risk on a NTMA.
I don’t really know how to classify this book it isn’t contemporary romance or a definite rom com but maybe somewhere in between. It is a journey of coincidence and maybe finding love in the most unlikely of places.
Sully & Ivy’s romance is more hands on and they both know what they want and that is one another. Brenner & Lauren are low key when it comes to what they are feeling but they have some really sweet moments. There is no steam but there is passion and well no sex which I am perfectly alright with.
I docked a half star because I got a HFN but what I really wanted was an Epilogue with Sully & Ivy, Brenner & Lauren, last but not least Amy & Moose. Then it would have hit the spot with no shadow of a doubt.
What I would also like to see is a book about the Wizard. Just sayin’ Ms. Seek.
