Blurb : On my way home, I was kidnapped by a man who made me cry out in both fear and pleasure.Three months. That was all it took for my life to turn upside down. Now I am free, but my freedom has a price: Archer will never pay for what he’s done to me.So when my friend asks me to help save a sex slave who is about to be sold at an auction, I know there is only one thing I can do without putting everyone’s lives at risk; I buy him.Handsome and infuriating, Isaac isn’t what I expected, and if he stays with me, he might unfold my deepest and darkest secrets. I can’t let that happen. But Isaac has a proposition for me; he wants to help me take down our mutual enemy. The stakes are high. Time is running out. My feelings for my captor are more conflicting than ever.I have to make a choice. This book contains potentially triggering situations, violence, strong language, and sexual content. It can be read as a standalone, but it contains some spoilers for Hold Me.

Review : Quite an unusual read for me – those “darker” books containing kidnapping and slavery are so not my thing

NORMALLY that is

This book is a little different – I am not sure what it was but something about the story drew me in.

I had the book now for quite a while and felt it was the time to finally read it.

But I can not help but think that there is something missing – as if the reader should know more about what happened before.

Still – a captivating read –
