Title : Accidental Texting: Finding Love Despite the Spotlight

Author : Kimberly Montague

Series : N/A

Rating : 3 Stars

Blurb : Morgan Edwards has been through a lot: being left at the altar by a man trying to use her, losing her mother to Cancer, and now she’s trying to keep her mom’s dream alive by running the Victorian inn they spent years restoring together. Her world is such a mess that she has no time for distractions. But when it feels like things are hopeless, an accidental text message manages to pull her out of this pit of despair and infuse a little excitement into her life.
Sean Wilder has it all: fame, fortune, and a very long list of ladies who’ve shared his bed. But what he finds in the girl he accidentally texts is entirely unexpected. Too accustomed to a world where everyone has an ulterior motive, he’s taken aback by Morgan’s honesty, her sincerity, and her struggle to do everything on her own despite the incredibly tough spot she’s in.
While similar life experiences draw them to one another, can they fit together when Morgan finds out Sean’s true identity? And can she find a way to fit next to him in the spotlight?

Review : WHAT HAPPEND ???

This book started as a sure 5 STAR ! Into it for about 25-30% I would have sworn on 5 STAR !

I don’t write long reviews that often – because honestly I rather spend my time reading the books – so normally a book has to fit in two categories for me to earn a long review …
It must really “piss” (sorry) me off … – and normally even then I do not write because its not worth the time …
OR it must be really good …

So this is “only” a 3 STAR ! Why am I writing ? – I can tell you – because in this special case I could not belive what happend …

After the slow beginning the book had me grinning (view spoiler)
I could relate to the characters and their actions. I felt comfortable reading it.
During the first 25-30% it was actual fun (view spoiler)
Even if I would have hoped for their first meeting to be different (view spoiler)
AND I actually had to stop and stare at the page when the meeting finally happend – I really catched my breath – and refused to read further for at least on hour – Time froze and my mind went into overtime imagening the feeling.
That scene was incredible – and as I said 5 Stars were a sure thing…

AND thats when it happend … it went downhill – sorry if my choice of words is not perfect – I am a non native –

During the remains of the book i found myself at one point thinking :
“should i go back to the point of the meeting and start counting how often she is crying?”
Seriously – in reality and ANY other book I read so far – a person in that state of mind would have been asked to see a doctor to treat their depressions or whatever
THAT is not normal
Her behavior really broke the spell the book had on me – and we went to a 4 Star rate

Thats when it comes to the lost chances, you know the moments in a book where you can put in some action – and even a romance can use that …

He is such a tough guy (view spoiler) but he never showed it in the book – it was mentioned sooo often you had to expect him to “use” that at one time – but – NO…

Enter the bad guy (view spoiler) – exit the bad guy – YES – it was that short

And I was missing out on something (view spoiler)

And so we went to 3 Stars …
Also because the story was loosing its speed – after (view spoiler) – it only continued to (view spoiler) and endend with what MORE crying …
