| A former Navy SEAL, Cole Makani Hunter has returned home from a disastrous black ops mission without his best friend, his hearing, or the use of his right arm. I struggled to connect with these characters – the whole plot felt more like a version of Beauty and the Beast somehow and that was not what I expected when I started reading. |
