Review : Always Be True: Tino (Sergeant Joe’s Boys #2) by Alexis Morgan is the second book in the Sergeant Joe’s Boys series.

 

And while it still feels kind of strange to read Non-Paranormal books from Alexis Morgan it really looks like she got the contemporary department solid under her typing fingers.

 

Still – Tino came to me a little more shallow than Jack in the first book. But I assume it was because of the basic Blurb of the Book.

 

I did not feel comfortable with Tino feeling “small” – I liked the “Boys” too much for that. Which was also a reason I was questioning myself in the beginning if I should request the book at all given the not so comfortable Blurb for me.

 

But I did not want to miss out on parts of this story – simply to not lose the story thread with all of Sergeant Joe’s Boys and I am glad I did not. I worked through it and it was really only my very personal issue and not one of the book.

 

The plot is solid and well written in the usual solid way that this author is presenting her work. And I can recommend this book warmly to al lovers of solid romances
