Blurb : “Love! That’s the four letter word to describe how I felt about this unique, sexy story. J. Daniels’ hottest book to date.”—Penelope Ward, New York Times bestselling author

Fate. Hate. Love. Lies.

Which four letter word will change their lives forever?

Sydney Paige was never so mortified to hear the words “wrong number” in her life. She meant to tell off the guy who broke her best friend’s heart, but unleashed her anger on a perfect stranger instead. And now her world is turned upside down by the captivating man who wants to keep her on the line.

Brian Savage is living a life he’s quickly come to hate-until Sydney’s wild rant has him hooked and hungry for more. Soon the sexy woman on the phone becomes the lover in his bed. But Brian has secrets, and the closer he lets Syd get, the harder it is to shield her from the devastating mistakes of his past . . .

Review : Four Letter Word (Dirty Deeds #1) was the first book by J. Daniels I read. And I am just now thinking on how to describe my feelings about this book.

One thing is for sure – it is a 5 star read – already because at one specific point about half in I had tears in my eyes.

Even with four letters to describe anything significant in this book – I honestly only need 3 and those resulted into a “W O W”

I have to admit that I really did not expect the story to be so engaging. Although there was a chapter or two that were to much as they dragged the plot and only held up the inevitable.

Which by the way came to light in a strange way, somehow I would have expected it to happen differently.

Not sure how, but still. You wonder that even if I am not fully satisfied with the plot I still give the full stars ? Yes I do… because I have my rules and that first half of the book makes up for the dragging in the later part.

If it had been up to me I could have gone on and on in that way because the anticipation was written beautifully.

The developing relationship between Brian and Syd was wonderful to watch and I could not help but #sigh at certain points.

I am by the way delighted to see that this is a series as there were several interesting characters introduced to us and I have a hard time deciding which one I wanted to read next.

Well I found out at the end of the book but, if I may complain ? .. I wanted to hear first about the other two I have in mind …(but to avoid diving into spoilers I won’t)

Anyway I hope the chosen book comes fast so that I can have the other two possible stories I see even faster …
