Review : After reading 2 books now by Tijan it is officially safe to say that this author made my list of favorite authors. And if I do not read all books by this author it will be because of the same reason that I do not read all the books of other favorite authors of mine. Simply because the plot of them does not fit my reading needs.

 

I just finished Anti – Stepbrother and loved it. I loved it from the beginning to the end.

 

And all of the main as well as secondary characters had so much depth that you as a reader had to wonder if the author was considering giving them their own story in another book. I would like to believe that the author is really considering this, because there was one character that was “revealed” very late into the story and I really really would like to hear more from him. Somehow I need to hear about what will happen to him – not sure how other readers think but if someone would ask me if Tijan should tell his story in a book I would say “(Hell) YES!!!”

 

Caden and Summer were just great together – there were so many great dialogues between the leading characters – in fact almost all of the dialogues that contained Summer were great. While she thought of her self as awkward – I thought she was refreshing honest and I totally loved her – which is rare for me (to love the female lead).

 

Caden always seemed to carry the weight of the world and all other people around him. Yet he had always had a clear view on how or when he was acting strange or like an #sshole … which is really a gift.

 

I admit that there were a few moments where I as a reader could not agree with the thoughts the author had for the story. But it was HER story not mine and in the end it worked out except for my need to know what happens with that secondary character that became important to me too. I doubt I have to say who I am talking about so .. please Dear Author – give us his story. He lost so much – almost too much to bear including the future he wanted do not let his story get lost too.
