Review : I just finished reading Entwined which is the second book in the “Recovery Series” by J.C. Harroway. The books are can be read separately and while I fully enjoyed reading “Recovery” (the first book) I had a much harder time with this book.

Similar to the first book the reader is thrown right into an existing story – similar like opening a door to a crowded pup and trying to find your friends. The beginning was bumpy and I admit I am not sure why Jess did what she did in that pub there the first night, I thought it was not a good idea to say it politely.

Once I got over my slight irritation at that beginning I found a heartbreaking story with tons of misunderstandings and hurtful moments. I cannot say “what happened to Jess and Morgan” because it is more of a “what was DONE TO Jess and Morgan” was so shocking to me that there was a moment when I had to catch myself as the author had me on the brink of an emotional moment.

Please enjoy this romance full of second chances… that will hopefully lead to a HEA ?
