No one knows who The Leverager is, or if they do, they keep his identity a closely guarded secret. You ask to him to do a favor, any favor and he’ll do it, for a price in return of course.
He’s exclusive; he meets the needs of his clients one at a time. They say his price is different according to each client, sometimes it’s money, sometimes it’s trade secrets and sometimes it’s a favor that you’ll have to repay in the future. The price is always extortionate—when you make a deal with the devil it always is. And I was willing to pay. |
This book is actually one of the few books ever sofar where I think it feels as if I have been reading the movie version. It feels like the author had so much more planned and did not have the space and time to leave it inside just one book. It was like there had been written more and someone said “you need to cut stuff or it gets to long”. #mistake … this book is a 4 star read – give me back the missing parts and it is a 5 star – if you need – make it two books – for once I would not care. I can almost point blindly to the chapters where stuff seems to have been taken out after writing it. Loved the subject – it reminded me of a sweeter version of the 1980s series stingray …
