before getting this book I read the first book in this series to get a
feeling what I am dealing with. “Everything in Between” by Melissa
Toppen was different from the first book.
To me it felt that Gabe had changed or maybe we did not see enough of
the real him in the first book. I like the writing style from this
author it has something unique to it. Her characters have an “insta”
feeling around them without being too much.
“Insta”-anything does not make me feel to good while reading because my
mind struggles to make the connections to the characters and that is
something that is very important to me.
story was drafted so carefully that it did not feel like an instant
connection but really more like the second chance it really was even
though it moved to fast for that and the characters did not really know
each other so well.
this story it only felt to me that I could not quite wrap my brain
around the contacting thing. I believe if you really – like REALLY want
to get in contact there is always some sort of possibility – the author
should have selected a different way out of this as an explanation.
was something between the characters that I as a reader felt was worth
exploring and I liked to follow the plot to its finish line.
